Native to the Middle East, India, and regions in between, cumin seeds have been a revered crop that has found its way into culinary dishes around the world.  What is more, is that cumin has a plethora of different health benefits; thus, it as been used in traditional medicines for thousands of years. 

Cumin seeds have anti-viral antimicrobial, and anti-fungal properties. 

Cumin is high in iron, the element in blood responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the bloodstream.  It is used to help prevent Jaundice, gas, reduce muscle spasms, diarrhea.  Cumin may help to strengthen bones, lower blood sugar, and lower the risk of seizures.
