Argan Oil

Argan Oil

Extracted from the seeds of Argan nuts, Argon oil is native to Morocco and now used around the world for both culinary and health purposes. It can be found in a wide range of beauty products.  It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, taken in oral supplements and mixed into a variety of different cosmetic products.

For hundreds of years, Moroccan women have used Argan oil as a treatment to maintain a fair complexion.  Scientific evidence from a study in 2013 has backed this up, concluding that The melanin content released in cells was dose dependent on Argon oil.

Argan oil is typically found in hair conditioners, lotions, and soaps due to its high concentration of Vitamin E. Vitamin E is known to improve the moisture retention of skin.

It is also indicated for reducing the oiliness of skin, cardiovascular risk prevention, and dandruff reduction.
